Custom New Pallets
All the pallets we produce are custom designed to match the needs of our customer. Some of our customers use common 48″x40″ GMA pallets, but our custom pallets range for 24″x24″ up to 48″x164″. We use four unique auto nailers and multiple hand bays producing around 2500 new pallets per shift.
Precision Cut Pallet Lumber
We carry a large stock of softwood lumber of various species and dimensions. We have the efficiency and various equipment to process your lumber needs. We can PET to with a tolerance of 1/16″ or economically Package Cut to within 3/16″
PET Cutting, Resawing, Notching
Our Reman has allowed us to be self sufficient. We have all the equipment needed to process pallet lumber and custom cutting orders on site. We process PTL or random lumber, notch, resaw, package cut, groove dunnage, and can HT IPPC stamp in-line.
Certified IPPC and ISPM-15
We meet strict ISPM-15 standards for pallets to be shipped overseas. We can provide the documentation so that you can confidently ship your products anywhere in the world. We have Certified IPPC stamping and HT documentation.
PDS Drawings and Weight Ratings
The “Pallet Design System” is the software we use to give complete specifications of pallet type, size and style, from dimensions and arrangements of all components to all the materials used to construct the pallet. The PDS will provide pallet load specifications along with drawings.
We Provide Heat Treated Pallets
The staff at Verbeek Pallet are well versed in the ISPM 15 rules and regulations and can help you ensure your shipment meets all the required international regulations.
Regulations to control the spread of wood and forest pests have become increasingly important in the wood trade. ISPM-15 (International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures) designates the standard required by the United Nations member countries for international shipments. The 170 governments (thus far) which have signed the IPPC (International Plant Protection Convention) have the right to refuse entry at their frontiers to goods transported on wooden pallets, in crates, spools or any other wood packaging unless it has been treated, marked and certified in accordance with its regulations. Verbeek Pallet provides heat-treated pallets which meet the demands of ISPM-15 and have experience in meeting all the needs of the wood packaging producer and user.
ISPM-15 Requirements
For the ISPM requirements, we purchase pre-heat-treated lumber from the certified mills and put our HT stamp once the pallets are assembled. This allows for international border crossing.
Compliance with ISPM-15 for wood packaging materials allows for two treatment options:
Heat Treatment (HT): Wood packaging material should be heated in a schedule that achieves a minimum core temperature of 56°C for a minimum of 30 minutes. The American Lumber Standards Committee administers the U.S. certification program for heat treatment.
Methyl Bromide (MB) Fumigation: The wood packaging material should be fumigated with methyl bromide.
NOTE: ISPM 15 requirements apply to all species of coniferous (softwood) and non-coniferous (hardwood) packaging materials.
